Flagpole World uses and recommends Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
ACCEPTABLE FILE FORMATS We support the following file formats in both MAC & PC (though PC is preferred): .eps / .ai / .tiff / .jpg / .psd / .bmp
MAC USERS: Please save your file in a format that will be recognised by a Windows machine, that is - eight characters filename followed by the appropriate three character file extension, ie: FPWflags.eps
STORAGE MEDIA We accept the following storage mediums - CD / 100MB Zip / DVD
PRINT READY ART Please ensure all elements for the file are supplied as per Flagpole World's file requirements (see above). Any changes to your artwork will attract Artroom charges ($65.00 per hour). Please ensure all files are setup to the correct dimensions. This means the file should be ready to print to the desired flag dimensions (ie: 1800x900mm).
COLOUR MATCHING Our digital printers print CMYK only. We cannot print white! Please provide details regarding any specific colours to match. PMS colours should be specified on the print-out provided with your disc, not just in the file itself.
YOU MUST PROVIDE COLOUR PRINT-OUT OF ART WITH DISK.
FONTS Please supply all printer and screen fonts used in your artwork, as our machines may not already have your font. For Windows users, please convert text to curves. Ensure the image is set up at 75dpi at final output size. Please save as .eps format with maximum .jpg compression.
VECTOR GRAPHICS (LINE ART) Provide PMS colours as we cannot colour match using CMYK percentages. Save as .eps format if possible. Flagpole World uses Adobe Illustrator to open .eps files. Convert text to outlines to avoid issues with the fonts.
Finally, please ensure all required .eps graphics and images are on the disc before sending it to us!
